PHILOSOPHY
Because we believe that who a child is is far more important that what he can do, we have as our goals for Happy Time Nursery School:
- To provide a richly varied environment in which the child can begin to discover who he is in relation to other children and adults.
- To provide materials for the child to explore space, the natural environment, use of his body, the thinking process.
- To provide opportunities for the child to try out behavior and to begin to understand the response of others to this.
- To offer experiences which will allow the child the right to make choices thus enabling him to begin to develop his value system.
Hopefully, we will encourage his curiosity, continue his sense of adventure and nourish his belief in himself.
