Union Baptist Church offers many chances to worship and study in small groups. Groups include:
- Women’s Bible Study - A lectionary based bible study that allows for women to come to as few or as many meeting as they can. Group meets on Tuesday’s 9:30am in Morgan House.
- Journeymen – A lectionary based bible men’s group that meets on Wednesday’s 7:00am in Morgan House
- Men’s Fellowship Group – A monthly group that meets for dinner in the Morgan House. Each meeting features a guest speaker on different topics.
- Prayer Shawl Ministry - A group of people who knit simple, small blankets and dedicate them with prayer and give them to those in need, whether it be for an illness, a crisis, or even for life’s joys, such as the arrival of a new baby. Meets 1st Thursday of the month in Morgan House.

The Youth program at UBC is a fun and safe place where youth and teens can be themselves, worship with friends, and learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. No topic is off limits and all youth (regardless of faith background) are invited.

Ichthus is our new youth group designed for Youth in the 5th and 6th grades. It is a group where 5th and 6th graders can explore their faith, learn the Bible, discover the joys of attending Union Baptist Church’s Sunday Morning Worship services, make new friends, and have lots of fun.

Youth Worship Service
“God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” -John 4:24
The Youth Worship Service is a special service of music and prayer for all youth. It is led by the youth and the youth leaders and is a time where all of the youth can meet together to worship God. The music for our Youth Worship Services is provided and often written by our Youth Praise Band.

The Youth Praise Band is open to all youth 5th-12th Grade who are interesting in learning how to play instruments, write songs, and sing and perform together for God. It meets every Sunday Afternoon in the Band Room. Musical Ability is not required. The Youth Band leads the music during the Weekly Youth Worship Services (Sunday Nights from 6:00-6:45 in the Youth/Multipurpose Room) and has performed for the Union Baptist Church’s Sunday Morning Worship Service as well events with other churches and organizations.
