It is our goal to be a generous congregation, serving God with gratitude and with faithful commitment, offering our best back to God through our church.  We hope that all members will sense the call of God somewhere in their lives and for their gifts and find a place of passionate service with and among us.  There are a variety of opportunities available from leadership roles on the governing board and worship team coordinators to committee volunteers. Our ministries include Worship, Spiritual Growth, Fellowship, Caring, Stewardship, Caring, Community Outreach and Communication.

Union Baptist Church is based on the concept of “voluntary association.”  As such, we gather voluntarily and we commit our individual resources—time, talent, and treasure—to the accomplishment of our mission and ministries without outside assistance from the denomination or other funding.  As we pursue our new vision for 2020, it is an exciting time to be a part of the mission of UBC and together, we hope to bring peace, healing, and compassion to our community.

Union Baptist Church is living its mission with vibrancy and joy as we connect through worship, spiritual growth, church community, serving and sharing.  Our ministries change lives and our wider local community.  We inspire.  We care.  We help.  We love.  We welcome.  We teach.  We grow.

 Your generous support makes

everything we do possible.

In 2020, God’s mission for us is growing and together, we will bring the love of God out into the world in ways that bless others and transform lives.  In Romans 12, God calls us to share our resources with each other and with strangers, to love one another, to rejoice and weep together, and to bring peace to a broken world.  You are invited to be a part of these ministries of grace as you invest your time, your talent, and your treasure in the mission of UBC.
